Sow Beets
Erica's Notes Beets are either falling-off-a-log easy or confoundingly difficult. If they are easy for you, keep doing whatever you are doing. If they are a challenge, check your soil texture. Beets grow best when they grow fast in a fairly loose soil which allows the roots to expand easily. For uniform and well-sized beets, thinning is essential.
